Dear Parents and Carers

Exciting News

Little Cherubs Kids Club from January 2020 will be partnering with Fantastic Learning, a language and tuition organisation, to diversify its activities. New activities to include a bouncy castle, films, homework club, as well as our existing new and improved Italian cookery, crafts and sports. Language and subject tuition also available, for further information contact Michael on 07943245604.

To celebrate this exciting new endeavour, we will be charging a promotional price of £8.50 (by 5pm) and £11.00 (by 6pm including meal). To secure this price and place at the club, prepayment is now required when booking. Thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Well done! We managed to raise £42 for MacMillan Cancer Support at our cake sale in September. Thank you to everyone who donated money so generously.

Term dates

Last day of half term – Fri 14th Feb 2020

*Please note we are closed for 2 weeks over February half term due to necessary building work.

First day back – Mon 2nd Mar 2020

Last day of Spring term – Thu 2nd Apr 2020

First day back – Mon 20th Apr 2020

Notification of attendance

All booked sessions will be charged regardless of attendance to cover the costs this entails, unless one half term’s notice is given. We would also like to remind parents and carers that if your child is coming for an extra session to the club, to also inform the school, so that your child’s teacher knows. In addition, if your child will be absent from the club please be so kind as to inform us by 2pm at the latest.

Reminders

Here are a few reminders regarding fees etc.

  • We do require 1 half term’s notice for changes of dates in order to offer refunds/credit
  • Late fees will be charged @ £7 per child , per 15 minutes or part thereof, from 6pm
  • Our official closing time is 6pm
  • Payment of invoices are due two weeks from the invoice date or a late payment fee may be charged. Please feel free to discuss alternative payment arrangements with the club manager if this is not convenient.

Lost property

To help us reunite missing items of clothing and baggage which are left behind at the club, please could we ask parents to label them.

Personal property

Children do like to bring in their own toys etc. However we would ask that you let your children know that this is at their own risk. We cannot be responsible for any losses or damage that may occur.

Behaviour

We have an expectation that all children attending the club treat each other and staff with respect in their actions and language, especially during team sports and other competitive activities. We deal with all incidents that are brought to our attention and would like to thank parents for their support.

Goodbye

Finally, we bid farewell to Karen Neal (staff member) and two of our trustees Pete Maiden (Chair) as he has served the maximum of three terms (9 years) and Sinead Connolly (Treasurer) due to increased work commitments in her new headteacher role. We will be voting in new trustees asap to fill these vacancies. In the interim Nina Quarshie (formerly Parent trustee) has agreed to cover as Chair. We would like to take this opportunity to wish them all the best for the future and thank them for their commitment and hard work.

Ofsted Inspection

Thank you to staff, parents and children, all our hard work paid off as we were rated as GOOD by Ofsted! A copy of the report is available at the club or can also be viewed on Ofsted’s website www.ofsted.gov.uk.

World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Thank you to everyone who helped raise funds for this event and we raised £53 (£13 more than last year)!

Newsletter September 2017

Dear Parents and Carers

Welcome to new parents and welcome back after the Summer break to our existing parents.

Fire drill and lockdown

This term alongside our termly fire drill we will be introducing a practice lockdown procedure just as a precaution to keep up to date with safeguarding methods.

Price increase

Unfortunately, due to increased running costs we will be increasing all our existing fees by £1 from January 2018. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Fundraising

We will be hosting a cake sale week commencing 25th September for Macmillan coffee morning (official date Fri 30th September). Please feel free to purchase these treats when you come to collect your child to raise funds for this worthy cause.
